BIOGRAPHY

Randall Reyman is a writer, musician, and composer living in Illinois. Born in Iowa, he spent his boyhood practicing his trumpet and wandering the family 160-acre livestock and grain farm. He attended the University of Northern Iowa, University of Illinois, North Texas State, and Illinois State University.
As an author, Mr Reyman's most recent novel is FROM THE BOHEMIAN HILLS. He has also written TWISTER'S WAKE, THE PATH, DEADLY CROP, and THE TALOS MANDATE––books 1,2, 3, and 4 in the Cyrus Brandt Series. His books are available at Amazon.com and at your local bookstores.
He has also published books for trumpeters and jazz musicians, available at Amazon.com and at qPress Publications.
As a classical performer, he has performed with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Chamber Orchestra, Peoria Symphony, Millikin/Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Brass Ensemble of Illinois, Millikin Brass Quintet, North Texas State Faculty Brass Quintet, and Illinois State Faculty Brass Quintet.
As a jazz/commercial trumpeter, Mr. Reyman has performed with a wide variety of performers including Bob Hope, George Burns, Richard Williams, The Platters, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Mills Brothers, Dave Brubeck, David Liebman, Ringling Brothers Circus, Ice Capades, Decatur Big Band, Broadway Big Band, Millikin Faculty Jazz Sextet, Four Other Brothers, Sonic Exploration Society, and the West End Trio.
As an educator, he served as Director of Jazz Activities at Millikin University. Mr. Reyman directed the Millikin University Jazz Band I and taught trumpet and composition.
As a composer/arranger, Mr. Reyman has composed music of all genres including orchestral, choral, chamber, and jazz works.
Mr. Reyman lives with his wife, Tina, and has 3 grown children, 3 stepchildren, and eight grandchildren.
